- Installation of KidSafe Guardian is a quick simple process. Download to your childs machine, and run the installer.
- Once KidSafe Guardian is installed on your childs computer, it is not detectable and the computer will function as before.
- When you are installing KidSafe Guardian on your childs computer, you will be prompted for the email address and password you used to create your FREE KidSafe Guardian account online. This is so the software knows where to send the information, and you are able to comfortably browse it from your account online.

- Have the email address and password ready that you used when you created your FREE KidSafe Guardian account online.
- Go to your Childs computer, then download and install the KidSafe Guardian software on it.
When prompted by the KidSafe Installer, enter the email address and password you used to create your free online account in step 1.
- Internet content Filtering currently requires Microsoft Internet Explorer, other browsers are being added.
- Chat monitoring currently requires Windows Live Messenger or MSN Messenger. Other chat clients are being added, however keylogging feature will still function for all chat clients.
